SHOPPING SPREE TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL

• This Shopping Spree is organized by MR.DOLLAR SDN.BHD [“the Organiser”] and will be governed by the following Terms & Conditions [hereinafter referred to as “T&C"]. The participants agree that they have read and understood these T&C and by their participation in the shopping spree, the participant agree to be bound by the T&C from the Organiser.
• 10 Winners will be selected among all the participants to win a shopping spree experience in MR.DOLLAR store at Sunway Giza Mall.
• The winner must bring the purchased receipt & this ticket for verification purposes.
• During the Shopping Spree event, 60 seconds will be given to each winner and the winner can grab any product into the basket prepared by the Organiser (as many as they can) within the time limit.
• Notwithstanding anything herein mentioned, the total amount of the product filled in the basket shall be capped at RM300 only for each winner.
• The Shopping Spree event will be limited only at the 1st floor of MR.DOLLAR store at Sunway Giza Mall.
• The winner must be present at MR.DOLLAR store 30 minutes before the event start.
• ONE ticket is for ONE representative only.
• If winner unable to attend on 30 December 2020, they are allowed to arrange ONE representative to join the shopping spree.
• Products taken by previous team will not be refilled and redisplayed.
• By entering into this game, participants agree to be bound by and to comply with all the T&Cs as stipulated herein and to any other T&C as which may be prescribed by the Organiser from time to time. Any non-compliance with or breach of any of these T&Cs may disqualify a participant from participating in the shopping spree at any stage of the game, and any prizes won may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed upon the sole discretion of the Organiser and such decision shall be final and conclusive.
• All transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in this Shopping Spree is at the sole responsibility of the participant[s].

 

SAFETY & SECURITY

• Participants must declare physically and mentally prepared for this game and must be free from all the diseases that potentially might put the participants in the risk of health while participating in the game/Shopping Spree. 
• Participants is encouraged to act properly and ensure all the items in the store is taken carefully to the basket.
• Participants are encouraged to act on a regular basis without jeopardizing personal safety and any items within MR. DOLLAR shop
• Any damages caused by the participant in the store during the Shopping Spree shall be fully incurred and born by the participant.
• The participant shall always indemnify or cause indemnified against the Organiser should there be any losses, injuries, damages, claim, proceedings, actions or accidents (whether directly or indirectly) due to the gross negligent and wilful misconduct on the part of the participant.
• Participants are to join this activity at their own risk. Participants shall assume full liability and responsibility at all times in case of any liability, mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents [including death] resulting from their participation in this shopping spree and the participants agree that no claim whatsoever relating to such losses or injuries (including special, indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against the Organiser, its parent companies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from the shopping spree and acceptance of any gifts, including but without limitation to any personal injuries, death and/or property damage.

 

PERSONAL LOST & BELONGINGS

• Participants are encouraged to take care of their own safety and self-belonging while participating in this contest.
• MR.DOLLAR shall not be held liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death in connection with the Shopping Spree.

 

MR.DOLLAR RIGHTS

• MR.DOLLAR may collect, use, disclose and share amongst ourselves and their respective service providers, the participant’s personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in MR.DOLLAR’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Contest / Lucky Draw or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation and the participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on the materials.
• MR.DOLLAR reserves the right to seize the game immediately should there be any inappropriate action, offence or violation made by anyone.
• MR.DOLLAR reserves the right to cancel, amend, vary, change or alter these T&C at any time under whatsoever circumstances as the Organiser deem fit and appropriate without any prior notice. Any changes therein will be posted on the MR. DOLLAR Social Media Platform or MR.DOLLAR Official Website.
• In the event of any inconsistency between these T&C and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Shopping Spree, these T&C as contained herein shall prevail. These T&C shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. The Organiser and the participants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.

 

ELIGIBILITY

• All entries must be received from 18^th – 20^th December 2020 at MR.DOLLAR store at Sunway Giza Mall only.
• This contest is open to all Malaysian age from 18 to 60 years old. By participating in this contest, each participant represents and warrants that he/she has met the eligibility criteria set out under these T&C.

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY NOTICE

• By participating in this contest, each participant agrees and gives consent to the Organiser (including its affiliates, partners, services providers and relevant business partners such as public relations agencies, market research firms and advertising agencies, which may be outside of Malaysia) to record, store, collect, use, process, disclose all the participant’s personal data, including name and contact details ["Personal Data"] and any other additional information the participant may subsequently provide to the Organiser that are submitted or disclosed by the participant on social media and on the brand website, for any and all purposes relating to this Promotion including but not limited to the following, in accordance with the applicable data privacy laws [“Purposes”]:
  
  

(a) to administer this contest including but not limited to contacting the participant for the administration to this contest;

(b) to run this contest and or any event or publicity of this contest in any form or through any media or for the Organiser’s promotional and marketing purposes, without additional compensation or further notification or permission;

(c) to respond to the participant’s posts, submissions, comments, requests, inquiries or complaints, to request feedback from the participants;

(d) conduct internal activities, market surveys and trend analysis, or other legitimate business activities of the Organiser; And/or

(e) any other purposes as may be related to the foregoing and/or as set out in the social media site or brand website.

• It is obligatory that the participant supplies the Organiser with the participant’s personal details [name, telephone number, email address] as required by this contest. If the participant fails to supply the Organiser such compulsory Personal Data, the Organiser may refuse to process the participant’s Personal Data for any of the Purposes.

• By participating in this contest, each participant further consents to the Organiser, its partners and its affiliates to collect, use, disclose and share amongst themselves and their respective service providers, the participant’s Personal Data and the photographs or audio and/or video or other recordings of the participant when attending event(s) hosted by the Organiser in connection with the shopping spree for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in the Organiser’s and its affiliates' publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and to promote the shopping spree or marketing purposes without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to such photographs or audio and/or video or other recordings shall vest solely and absolutely in MR. TOY and its affiliates without further compensation. The participants shall cooperate with and participate in the activities organized by the Organiser for these purposes.

• By participating in this shopping spree, each participant further consents to receive marketing materials, communications and information, promotional offers, newsletters and any other communication relating to the Organiser’s products.

• The participant may request for access to or correction of the Personal Data or to limit the Processing of the Personal Data at any time hereafter by submitting the participant’s request to the Organiser via email enquiry. Please note that it will be necessary for the participant to provide all of the Personal Data, without which the Organiser will not be able to obtain the participant’s feedback and to process the same for the Purpose. By providing the Organiser with the participant’s Personal Data, the participant expressly consents and agrees to the above-mentioned terms with respect to the Processing of the participant’s Personal Data by the Organiser.

• The participant consents for the transfer of his or her Personal Data to the Organiser’s affiliates and authorized employees, agents and third parties outside of Malaysia as the case may be, for the Purposes; and in particular, the Organiser may transfer the participant’s Personal Data to the Organiser’s oversea affiliate(s) where our information technology storage facilities and servers may be located. At all times, your Personal Data will be treated by the Organiser and our service providers as confidential information.

• The participant is responsible for ensuring that the Personal Data the Organiser collect is accurate, complete, not misleading and kept up to date.
